A Junmai Ginjo with a clear, smooth texture with a good balance of sweetness, dryness and acidity. Akita's specialty sake rice, "Akita Sake Komachi" is polished to 55%.
Akita Sake Komachi rice has elevated glucose levels, meaning much of the sake brewed with it leans toward the sweeter side. There is also often a spicy quality, alongside a whole fruit basket of tasting descriptors.
