Our special collaboration sake with Dainagawa - an homage to an icon of Singapore. Don't judge this sake from its appearance - the dragon does have a cute, harmless expression with a bit of sweetness but it also has a dry kick at the end that resembles a dragon's breath!

TASTING NOTES

FOOD PAIRING

This junmai ginjo has a pure, clean flavour with a round & rich touch coming from the Akita Sakekomchi rice. It is easy to drink with a refreshing soft taste that will suit many local palates! Most will be surprised by the round flavour, coming from the local premium Akita Sakekomchi rice and how it's brewed - This product is a Muroka Genshu, meaning it's unfiltered & no water added. It is also brewed in small batches and is limited in quantity.

This sake label depicts the iconic Dragon Playground from Toa Payoh - a beloved Singapore cultural landmark built in 1979 that symbolises the enduring ties of our heartland community - paired with the delicate elements of the Japanese sakura. 

Best served chilled between 5°C to 10°C.

Snow country Akita, especially Yokote is a city with a lot of snow. Starting with the famous "Kamakura", the climate of the people living in this area and the culture has been nurtured with snow. Dainagawa is Yokote Bonchi at the foot of Mt. Horowa in the northwest of the land, the village of Shimotsuki Kagura that has been handed down since ancient times, It is located in Omori-cho, Yokote city. The clean water suitable for sake brewing in Dewa Hills is used as the brewing water, and it is brewed with the traditional Akita cold brewing method of Sannnai Toji.
